Who's Who at St Andrew's?
Rev Dr Murray D. Gow - International Congregation
Murray is a graduate of Auckland University (BA in Philosophy and Ancient History), MA (Philosophy), with a BD from the Melbourne College of Divinity, Murray also studied at Regent College, Vancouver, and did research at Tyndale House, Cambridge which he published as a literary study on the Old Testament Book of Ruth, and was awarded a Doctor of Theology by the Australian College of Theology.
Murray subsequently lectured at Wellington Bible College in Biblical Studies and Theology, where he was Principal from 1986 to 1992 as well as editor of the journal, Stimulus. In the mid to late 1990's Murray moved to Austria where he taught Old Testament at Schloss Mittersill, as well other seminaries in Croatia, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Poland and Russia. Murray has also taught Hebrew studies at St John's College, Auckland and the Catholic Institute of Theology, but since 2002 he has been in pastoral ministry in New Zealand as well as serving an international congregation in Warsaw, Poland.
Murray has served at St Andrew's since February, 2011.
